"Parameter is not valid" when converting PPT to PDF

This happens to us quite frequently when we have above average load on our generated reports.

We can not reproduce it locally, so what we have resorted to is restarting the application pool which hosts our webapp.

Following Stack trace is produced.

If we save the report as PPT no problems are detected.

We use Aspose.Slides 5.0.1.0

Sure thing.

We use powerpoint as templates and we replace image and texts in them. After we are done transforming the slide we use the following code-snippet to save them to PDF.

We can reproduce this error on several templates we have made, and usually when the pdf-convertion fails other templates starts to fail also.

Hi

We generate thousands of reports each week by having templates with certain placeholder images or text areas that we replace with real data. Some of these templates can sometimes start throwing the exception detailed above. Other reports with different templates can and often will continue to work. We monitor these faults and the only way for us to currently make them stop is to stop the Application Pool (we are running a ASP.NET MVC site).

When we try to reproduce this locally we can’t make it happen.

Thanks for sharing the sample code. The code shared is only the part of picture but not complete sample that you have used to reproduce the issue on your end. Please share a working sample application along with source presentation with which you are able to reproduce the issue. I will try the same application on my end to help you further in this regard.
