Re: Export PDF to Excel with Aspose.Pdf

I’m the develop manager of Industrial area of Fabril/Forwood System of the
Lógica Informática company.

I tested the Aspose.PDF 9.5 to verify the issue correction.

The conversion work is better, but not perfect yet… In some cases, (and I
don’t know why) the blanks columns didn’t respected yet.

Follow one example. Please, pay attention in ‘Saldo Inicial’ column, where the
first value (13,0000) is in the erlier column… and on the ninth value

Would you adjust it?

ExcelSaveOptions options = new ExcelSaveOptions();

options.InsertBlankColumnAtFirst = false;

options.UniformWorksheets = true;

//options.MinimizeTheNumberOfWorksheets = true;

Document pdfDoc = new Document(_filePath);

var saveDialog = new SaveFileDialog();

var startIndex = _filePath.LastIndexOf(@"") + 1;

var endIndex = _filePath.Length - startIndex - (_filePath.Length - _filePath.LastIndexOf(’.’));

saveDialog.FileName = _filePath.Substring(startIndex, endIndex) + “.xls”;

saveDialog.DefaultExt = “.xls”;

saveDialog.Filter = “Pasta de Trabalho do Excel (agrupado)|.xls|Pasta de Trabalho do Excel (páginas)|.xls”;

var result = saveDialog.ShowDialog();

pdfDoc.Save(saveDialog.FileName, options);

Hi Fabio,

for using our API’s.<o:p></o:p>

I have tested the scenario and I am able to reproduce the same problem. For the sake of correction, I have logged it in our issue tracking system as PDFNEWNET-37366. We will investigate this issue in details and will keep you updated on the status of a correction.

We apologize for your inconvenience.

Hi Fabio,

Thanks for your patience.

We have further investigated the issue reported earlier we are pleased to share that its resolved in latest release of Aspose.Pdf for .NET 9.6.0. First of all, please note that first we do not recommend using of UniformWorksheets option in your document because the tables inside it are not uniform. The format of table on page 4 differs from pages 1-3. Ignoring (or disabling) of UniformWorksheets option resolves problem with values (534,0000 and 1.059.227,78) from last page.

Besides this, we also have improved the algorithm and Sum value from page 3 (1.059.227,78) has correct position now.

ExcelSaveOptions options = new ExcelSaveOptions();<o:p></o:p>

options.InsertBlankColumnAtFirst = false;

options.MinimizeTheNumberOfWorksheets = true;

Document pdfDocument = new Document(inputFile);

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNEWNET-37366) have been fixed in Aspose.Pdf for .NET 9.6.0.
