Re: Shapes being added as 1-D

Hi Chris,

Thank you for contacting support. Aspose.Diagram API supports adding 1D & 2D shapes to the Visio drawings. The getOneD method returns boolean value. It tells that the shape is one dimensional or not. Please refer to the help topic: Add and Connect Visio Shapes

How do I control whether the shape is added as a 1D or 2D shape?

Hi Imran,

Does this mean that currently all shapes are added as 1-D until you add this new feature?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your inquiry. We have asked our development team to share more details. We’ll let you know once an update is available. Please spare us a little time.

Hi Chris,

Please note that we could only get the OneD property of a shape, but could not change this property. There is no way to change the OneD property of the shape using Microsoft Office Visio. All the shapes are not added as 1-D because the line shape is 1-D, but more shapes are 2-D such as a rectangle. Anyhow, we have logged above investigation to find the most convenient solution. Our development team will look into the matter.

We hope, this helps. Please feel free to reply us in case of any confusion or questions.

With Microsoft Visio, you can change the 1-D property of a shape by going to the Behavior dialog and setting the ‘Interaction Style’ to either 1-D or 2-D.
