I am unable to find code to Read XLSX/XLS files in jdk 1.4…
i need java code and required jar files.


will you guys help me out

Please see the documents in the section for reading/writing Excel files (XLS, XLSX etc.) via Aspose.Cells APIs:

Well, Aspose.Cells for Java supports JDK 1.6, 1.7 or greater versions. So, now we only provide JDK 1.6 or greater compiled version(s) of the product. The single JDK1.6 Jar of the product does support JDK 1.6, 1.7 and above versions, so you may try it without any issue.
FYI, we have recently moved main codebase to Java 6 (Java 7 and 8 are also supported) to make the product more robust and efficient and dropped support for Java 5 and 1.4. Both the JDK1.4 and 5 are discontinued by Sun/Oracle. Even commercial (non-open) support of JDK 1.5 is dropped about year ago.

Note: If you still need JDK 1.4 or 1.5 version of the product, we can try to provide you with separate jar(s) on demand.

Let us know if you still need JDK1.4 compiled version of the latest Aspose.Cells for Java v8.4.0, we will check it and may provide you the required Jar(s) here.
