Reading a document pagewise


Is there any provision to parse a word document pagewise i.e. if i want to read only page no. 3 of the document is it possible?

Thank you for considering Aspose.Words. Unfortunately, there is no way to read a particular page of MS Word document. MS Word document is flow document and does not contain any information about its layout into lines and pages. So there is no way to determine where page starts or ends.

In Aspose.Words we are using our own Rendering Engine to layout document into pages. The Rendering Engine is using for converting to PDF. But, unfortunately, currently, there is no public API to determine where pages start/end.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-2978) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
