Regarding features

I would like to know about the features of Aspose. We are looking for a product which supports all microsoft office docs and txt, html, tif, bmp, gif, jpeg and png files to convert into pdf files.

As of now we are using iText for Java and Active PDF, but looks like they don't support all tiff types. Tif image files with JPEG, OJPEG and PACKBITS compression types are failing in conversion.

So, we are evaluating other products in the market.

Can you please explain, which of your product suites will solve our needs and can you also please explain the complete features of the suite you suggested.

thanks,

vishnu

Hi Vishnu,

Thank you for considering Aspose.

Well, you will require multiple products as per your requirements. For XLS to PDF conversion, you will need Aspose.Cells for Java, for conversion from Word to PDF, you will need Aspose.Words for Java and for differenct image formats to PDF conversion, you will require Aspose.Pdf for Java. Please see the following documentation links for you reference:

I think you can consider Aspose.Total for Java to utilize all these component with a single license. I am moving your post to Aspose.Total forum.

Please feel free to contact support regarding any further queries as per your requirements.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi there,

Thanks for your inquiry.

In addition, you can find a detailed list of drawing features supported by Aspose.Words on conversion to PDF in the documentation.

If we can help with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

I have similiar requirements, as much as possible file types that can be converted into PDF using the Java API. Is there something like an implementation in Aspose.Total so that I don’t have to write all the implementation (by picking the right classes and modules) by myself?

Hi,

Yes, you need to pick the concerned class of the products to perform the job (Office or other files -to- PDF), see the reply of Rashid Ali for your reference:

Thank you.

Hi Peter,

We have an alternate solution for you if you do not want to write all the implementation classes. You can use Saaspose to convert your documents on any platform including Java. Saaspose allows you to convert your documents with a single API call and provides the same quality as Aspose. You can also use Saaspose SDK for Java in your application.

Please check Saaspose API documentation http://saaspose.com/docs/dashboard.action for more details on how to use Saaspose in your application to convert documents and feel free to contact support in case you have further queries.

Best Regards,
