We’ve been testing .Slides for possible licensing/buying. One of the major reasons we are still in doubt lies in the visual quality of converted graphs (that .Slides converts to images). The resulting image is of poor quality/ grainy. They could be 100% ‘sharp’ if the graphs are converted to a vector based image type rather than .jpg what I would assume it is now. I read about your update to .Slides today and was wondering whether this is a feature that has been upgraded as well. Could you let me know? Particularly what this sentence entails:
We have also made good progress in the area of charts and table rendering.
I have observed the requirements shared by you and like to share the apart from exporting the slides to commercial image formats like Jpeg, Png and Bmp, Aspose.Slides for .NET also allow to export the slides to SVG as well. I hope this will be helpful to you. Please visit this documentation link for your kind reference in this regard. Please share, if I may help you further in this regard.
Hi,
I am interested in this as well. Merel’s question was about the SSRS extension though. I would like to know if charts are produced sharp as well. What are the current resolutions/image formats in Slides for SSRS extension? And where can I find the release notes for https://blog.aspose.com/2014/07/11/improved-rendering-support-available-in-aspose.slides-for-reporting-services-5.0.0?
I have observed the requirements shared by you and like to share that the charts in Reporting Services reports are exported as images and not chart objects. The default slide size is 720 x 540 with DPI 96. Also, the release notes for any release can be found in download section with every release. For Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services 5.0.0, you can visit this link. You can also visit the release notes for other product releases as well.
I like to share that Aspose.Slides allows you to set the scaling factor while generating the slide thumbnails. The scaling factor 1 means that the resolution is default 720 x 540. The scaling factor 2 means 7202 x 540 2 resolution. Please visit this documentation link for your kind reference in this regard. Please share, if I may help you further in this regard.
