Retreiving Page Number in converted html file

Hi,

I have attached a word doc for reference. It doesn’t have any footer to indicate the page numbers. I have converted the word doc to html using aspose word javas’ document.save method. In the output, I cannot determine that which content belongs to which page.
Kindly guide me through the process(if any) to print/determine the page number in the converted html as per the word doc, though I am able to get the total page count.

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Html based formats are not paginated. So there no concept of page in html file formats.

Moreover, MS Word document is flow document and does not contain any information about its layout into lines and pages. Therefore, technically there is no “Page” concept in Word document. Pages are created by Microsoft Word on the fly.
