Running Aspose Words in a disconnected environment

Does Aspose Words run in an environment that is disconnected from the Internet?
There was a post about this some years ago that said that it does work without Internet access but I would like to confirm if this is still true?

Aspose.Words itself does not require internet and yes you can run it in an environment that is disconnected from the Internet. However, if your input Word/HTML files have remote Images/CSS in them then Aspose.Words will access internet/network to access those remote resources to be able to properly render them to PDF etc.
