Running macro from server side automation

Hello

I have an automated server side process which needs to call a macro within an Excel document. Does Aspose.Cells support this?

Thank you for considering Aspose products, and welcome to the Aspose.Cells support forum.

I am afraid, Aspose.Cells API does not support the execution and manipulation of macros in Excel spreadsheets. Aspose.Cells can only detect if the spreadsheet contain macros or not. Moreover, the macros are retained in the output files if they are already present, Aspose.Cells do not corrupt the existing macros while working on workbooks.

My solution requires calling a macro. Is there a way to do this using Aspose.Cells and perhaps another solution without using COM Interop?

As discussed previously, Aspose.Cells does not support executing VBA macros in Excel spreadsheets, therefore Aspose.Cells component cannot help you with your goals. Moreover, I can only guide you regarding Aspose products. Sorry for this inconvenience.
