SAVE EMAIL in MSG format

Hi ,

We have aspose.network 2.3.1 version. Currently all emails are storing as EML format and if some who does not have outlook express could not open the mail.

Some one help here for the following two question

1. how to open .eml in microsoft outlook

2. when saving of .msg file format will be supported in aspose.network.

Thank you for considering Aspose.

I haven't been able to find a way to open eml format in Microsoft Outlook (It does open a new email with the eml attached when you double click a eml file). However you can use MS Word 2003 to open and edit eml file.

Let me know if you need more help

i have microsoft office word 2003 v11.8169.8172 sp3. but i could not open it.

Can you suggest me some other tool which it can open eml file?

1. EML is an open email format. Microsoft Outlook Express and Other Outlook version support this format quit well.

2. Aspose.Network does not support saving messages to msg formats now.

.msg format - will you support in near future?

Opening .eml - Tried opening in outlook 2003, Its opening as a attahcement but could not open the mail as if , in any of outlook version(outlook 2003 11.8169.8172) except outlook express.

Or perhpas, you can save the mail message to mht format with MailMessage.Save(filename, MessageType.Mht); Then the email message will be converted to mht format, you can use IE to open it.

I don't know why you cannot open *.eml file in Microsoft Outlook -- it works perfect here.
