Save to excel with column headers

Using gridweb for .net - I need to save column header names to an excel file, ideally as a 1st row of data, tried using worksheet.ExcelShowHeaders, setting the property on my one and only worksheet right before “grid.SaveToExcel”, but this does not seem to do it, Is the right property? It says the purpose is to “Indicates whether to show the row and column headers when export to an Excel file and view in MS-EXCEL”, but this certainly did not do it for me. Is there another property/way other then doing custom code to insert the row then save the column headers as the 1st row? It
seems such a common feature that everyone would want.
