Save VSD as VSD

Hi there!


After some manipulations with my VSD file i want just to save it in same format. But all 4 versions of Diagram.Save() method requiers some from SaveFileFormat enumeration. But there is no any old format (vsd, vst e.t.c.) in this enum. So did i missed something or Aspose.Diagram does not have this functionality? And if not , so when it will?

I am using Aspose.Diagram version 1.5.0.0 for .net3.5

Dear Sergey,

This feature is not supported at the moment but a new issue to support this feature has been logged into our issue tracking system as DIAGRAM-31002. We will keep you updated on this issue in this thread. At the moment, you can save as XML (VDX, VSX and VTX), image or PDF formats only.

Hello! After a month i have to ask, are there any changes with this absurd issue? If it is not, please share with plans when this feature will be supported so i can paln my work.

Hi,

Currently our developers are improving existing rendering features. This feature will be resolved during "25910 - Creating Visio files from scratch" issue which has been planned for the first quarter of 2012. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Any progress on this?

Also, addition to question, I suppose when this feature would added, I’ll be able to export diagrams from my application to VSD file?

Hi Makro,

Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available and it can take a few months to resolve this issue. Of course, when this feature is added, you should be able to easily export your diagrams to VSD from your application without using MS Visio.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
