Hello

Thanks for your request. I managed to reproduce the problem on my side. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue. You will be notified as soon as it is fixed.
As I can see, using Aspose.Words for .NET the output PDF looks much better (Please see the attached PDF document). So after finishing the synchronization of Aspose.Words for .NET and Java the problem will be partially fixed.
Best regards,

Hi Andrey,
Thanks for the reply.

  1. Can you attach here PDF-document generated with latest Aspose.Words for .NET version?
  2. Is it possible to update the topic “Autoporting Aspose.Words for Java Progress - 10th Jan 2011” with the actual status?

Best regards, Evgeniy

Hi Evgeniy,

Thanks for your request. I have attached the PDF document produced using Aspose.Words for .NET to my previous post. Regarding synchronization process, we are on the final stage; please expect a reply within 4-5 weeks.
Best regards,

Hi Andrey,
Thank you for the attached file. It really looks better. But unfortunately there are still visible white lines between the paragraphs. Did you creare an issue in your fix list for that?
Best regards, Evgeniy

Thanks for your inquiry. Actually, there is no problem using Aspose.Words for .NET. The thin white hairlines you see in PDF are not visible on printing or on higher zoom. So I don’t think we need to create an issue for this.
Best regards,

Hi there,
Also, to avoid these lines I would suggest using a rectangle shape or table to contain your text and then set the background of the shape/cell to the color you want instead of shading each paragraph.
Thanks,

We are happy to inform you that the first auto-ported version of Aspose.Words for Java is ready. This version supports converting documents to PDF. You can get it from here.

Best regards,
Aspose.Words team
