Security warnings on Word 2003

Hi support,

Please create a document based on another document containing macros. Using Word 2003 run one of the macros on the result document and save the document. The macro execute successfully but when the document is opened again in Microsoft Word, a security warning on tampered macros will be shown.

This problem does not occur with Word 2007.

Can you verify if this is a problem related to the Aspose library?

Please see attached screenshot and document.

Best regards,
Milan

Hi
Thanks for your inquiry. Does this message occur only after processing the document using Aspose.Words? if so please attach your source document (before processing using Aspose.Words). I will investigate the problem and provide you more information.
Best regards.

Hi support,

Please check the attached document. If you run any of the existing macros (e.g. “tpe”), on Word 2003, you’ll get the pop-up message. On 2007 it works ok. Please confirm if this is caused by aspose.word for java, or if it is a Word 2003 problem.

Regards,
Milan

Hi
Thanks for your inquiry. No, I don’t think that Aspose.Words is reason of this problem. You can set “Low” security level in MS Word 2003. In this case warnings will be not displayed.
Best regards.
