Right now the API version always is the same (latest), although the API url seems to have a version number: api.aspose.com/v1.1/
- The list of available application should be the ones that are supported by you guys.
- Nightly and testing versions also should be included for testing purposes
- Switching to another version should be possible via the Cloud dashboard
Most important reason for this is that you could release smaller updates faster and more often, without impacting 'stable' users. Basically we would be able to help you guys validate bugfixes before a 'stable' release was made.
A really nice example of how this should work is cPanel, they have multiple tiers. See attached image:
