Setting ASPOSE.cells license in classic ASP

How do I set the license in classic ASP?

I tried putting the suggested code (below) in the ASP script that is calling Aspose.cells

’Instantiate an instance of license and set the license file
through its path

Dim license As
Aspose.Cells.License =
New
Aspose.Cells.License()

license.SetLicense(“Aspose.Cells.lic”)

The following line of code is being used in the classic ASP script:

Set workbook = Server.CreateObject(“Aspose.Cells.Workbook”)

Tried putting the license code before and after the above line. We are still getting the “evaluation warning” with the new sheet being added to Excel files being created by the script.

Please help.

Hi,

Please make sure that you licensing code is correct and should be processed.
e.g
Dim license
Set license = CreateObject(“Aspose.Cells.License”)
license.SetLicense "Aspose.Cells.lic"

Also, since the licensing code is needed to run only once per application life cycle, so you may put this code to some other location, e.g in global.asa file’s event, e.g Application_onstart etc.

Thank you.
