Setting document properties breaks links imported objects

When performing a simple document property update on a pptx file created in office 2016, another embedded pptx object (also created with office 2016) throws an error.

CODE
Presentation pres = new Presentation(files[j]);
DocumentProperties docprops = (DocumentProperties)pres.getDocumentProperties();
docprops.setCustomPropertyValue(“dctm_r_object_id”, record);
pres.save(files[j].replaceAll(“f_”, “r_”), SaveFormat.Pptx);

FILE
aspose.slides-16.10.0.jar

SCENARIO:
1. create simple pptx file using office 2016 (attached embedded_file.pptx)
2. create new pptx file and execute ‘Insert -> Object -> Browse existing file’
3. Select the file from step 1 to inlcude in the new file and save as pptx file
4. Execute the above code on the file created in step 3

Outcome: When attempting to open the ‘touched’ file I am no longer able to open the embedded opject.

Please investigate.

Hi Brenda,

I have observed your comments. I request you to please use Aspose.Slides latest version on your end if there is still an issue please share feedback with us.

Best Regards,

Dear,

I updated the aspose to use the latest version

I even added a print line to see if the code was using the expected version:

System.out.println(com.aspose.slides.License.getVersion());
—> 16.11.0.0

Unfortunately the exact same incorrect behaviour.

Please suggest how to proceed.

Regards
