SftpConnectException - Server doesn't support versions 3 or 6

Hi,

I recently tried to use Aspose.Network to make an SFTP connection but when I try to make a simple connection I am receiving the following exception:

I have not been able to figure out why this exception is occurring as this is just trying to connect to the SFTP server. Can someone shed some more light on this one? Please let me know if you need any more information.

We cover the SFTP protocol v3 and 6, which are most widely used.

Could you please tell which FTP server you are using?

Matt & I work for the same group so I’ll reply to this. Here is the info I see when I log on to this server using FileZilla.

I changed the server name and IP address in the text above for security, but otherwise it’s as-is.

Currently, we only support SSH protocol version 3 and 6 for SFTP protocol. We will investigate about adding support to other SSH protocol versions and will update you here when they are added (Issue ID: 24735). Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would like to share that Aspose.Network is no more supported now and has evolved to much enhanced product Aspose.Email for .NET. Therefore this issue is being closed and will not be addressed by development team for Aspose.Network.
