You could please find that Microsoft Visio saves the formula as shape ID when it is .vsdx.
E.G.:
SUM (DEPENDSON,Sheet.4!SheetRef()))
and when it is .vdx OR .vsd:
Relationships F='SUM(DEPENDSON(1,Phase List.40!SheetRef(),Swimlane List.39!SheetRef()))'>0
So MS Visio saves the formula as shape’s name when it is .vsd or .vdx. We have kept similar behavior in the API. Please check attached source XML in Visio.
