Currently we utilize Apose PDF in our coding of our application to handle our printing in our application. We have a client that utilizes a Troy signature font that is assigned to a OLE object with specific characters. When the printer sees this OLE object present on a document, it replaces the object with a signature image that is on a USB connected to the printer. When tested in Crystal Reports the functionality works, but when printed from our application that utilizes Apose, it doesn’t replace the OLE object. I would assume that is has to do with Apose creating the PDF and then when sent to the printer, the printer not being able to edit a PDF and no text is is able to be selected. Does anyone have any experience in this or could help me out with ideas. Thanks all!
