Slides for SSRS error when exporting 120 page report to ppt formats

Hi there,

we are getting the following error when trying to export a 120 page report to powerpoint formats.

Smaller reports export without a problem. Please could you advise. I checked the memory usage, this server has 32gigs of memory and the export fails without all of the memory being used (only 9.5gigs showing as used at time of failure).

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for the details.

To further test your issue, I would request you to share the following information with us.

1: The RDL file
2: The Data Source
3: System Environment Details i.e. OS, SSRS version etc.

We will further check your issue with the details shared by you.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi there

I will get the client to forward the system environment details 1st thing tomorrow morning. The RDL file I can also forward, but the datasource contains confidential information, so I won't be able to share that.

The problem is that this only happens when the report gets to a certain size and not that big, 8megs odd, then it wont export, smaller than that and the same report exports no problem?

Many Thanks

Deb

PS This is not happening on only one specific report, it is on all reports when they get to a certain size.

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for the feedback.

You can replace the actual data with some sample dummy data and share the source with us. This will help us in reproducing the issue soon. We will wait for the details from your side to test the issue further.

Thanks & Regards,
