Slow bookmark processing

Hi Aspose,

We have a particular document that contains a lot of bookmarks, we are finding that the processing of each bookmark takes a long time; and as such simply iterating over the document can take over 2 minutes.

This may be expected behavior (from your end) however I would appreciate someone to look at this and clarify whether there is an issue with the performance of this process.

We were able to notice the long processing time while testing the scenario with Aspose.PDF for .NET 21.3. Therefore, we have logged an issue as PDFNET-49683 in our issue tracking system to further investigate this case. We will look into details of it and rectify it to give better performance. You will surely be informed once the ticket is resolved. Please be patient and give us some time.

Please can we have an urgent update on the progress of PDFNET-49683? We require either a fix or workaround to be able to set the language on the PDF document without performance being affected. We are currently using taggedContent.SetLanguage(“en-GB”) for this purpose, but this causes the performance issues as logged in PDFNET-49683. Thanks
