I’m trying to use smart markers in my template’s header, but once the document is generated, I simply see my smart marker’s text (including ampersand and equal) printed instead of the data being supplied by my stored procedure. Is there a way to get the smart marker to generate properly? Is there a different syntax for smart markers in a spreadsheet’s header?

We are afraid, this feature is not available in Smart Markers. You cannot set Header and Footer using Smart Marker tags. Also, headers/footers are added with the help of script commands, so you will have to set them separately in you code.
