I use the WorkbookDesigner.Process(false) method. but the SmartTags are still kept in the workbook when there is no data in datasource.

Well, it might not supported in some older versions of Aspose.Cells, kindly try the latest version 4.4.3. (it is supported in it) downloading @: http://www.aspose.com/community/files/51/file-format-components/aspose.cells/entry121851.aspx
