[Solved] Warning with Visio OLE object

Hi, there.
I have a .doc file containing a Visio OLE object.
When I save the document in .doc format a warning is returned: Unknown ProgId value ‘Visio.Drawing.5’. This might cause inaccessible OLE embedding.
Whereas when I save in .docx format, no warning is returned.

Here is the code I use to get the warning:

Document d = new Document(inputPath);
DocSaveOptions options = (DocSaveOptions) SaveOptions.createSaveOptions(SaveFormat.DOC);
options.setWarningCallback(new IWarningCallback(){
@Override
public void warning(WarningInfo arg0) throws Exception {
System.out.println(arg0.getDescription());
}
});
options.setPrettyFormat(true);
d.save(outputPathDoc, options);
//
OoxmlSaveOptions options = (OoxmlSaveOptions) SaveOptions.createSaveOptions(SaveFormat.DOCX);
options.setCompliance(OoxmlCompliance.ISO_29500_2008_TRANSITIONAL);
options.setWarningCallback(new IWarningCallback(){
@Override
public void warning(WarningInfo arg0) throws Exception {
System.out.println(arg0.getDescription());
}
});
options.setPrettyFormat(true);
d.save(outputPathDocx, options);

You will find in attachement the Word input document.
Why do I have this warning when saving in .doc and not when saving in .docx ?
Thanks.

Hi Edith,

Thanks for your inquiry.

I have managed to reproduce the same warning message at my side. I have logged a ticket as WORDSNET-9783 in our issue tracking system to find the reason of this warning message. We will update you via this forum thread once there is any update available on this.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-9783) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
