I am using Aspose.Email for .NET to convert Outlook .msg files to the .mht format. The special characters in the resulting mht file are not showed correctly by Internet Explorer; Opera instead, is capable to render the text exactly as in the source Outlook file.
I have attached the test project with the msg file along with two jpg files showing results in the two browsers. Before compiling the project you must copy a valid Aspose.Email.lic in the project folder.
I have re-generated the issue here and found it valid. I have raised a ticket NETWORKNET-33286 for further investigation by our experts. As soon as some feedback is received, it will be notified to you.
Hi, I tested the 1.9 version of Aspose.Email and the problem seems to be gone apart of this included eml whose accented 'i' following 'Luned' shows as a square.
I have worked with your scenario and I am unable to find any issues while converting your provide EML file to MHT. Please check the attached snapshot for your reference.
To further investigate this problem, I would request you to identify the browser to view the Mhtml file. Also, if would be of great help if you can also share the snapshot to show the difference.
I am able to reproduce the said problem in Windows Xp by using Internet Explorer 8 to view the resultant file. For further investigation and correction, I have logged a ticket (NETWORKNET-33347) in our defect database and attached it to your request for tracking purposes.
As soon as we have analyzed the problem and identified the cause, we will update you here regarding the projected release schedule of its fix.
