Hi,
We have a strange problem popping up when converting to PDF.
In the attached test case, the source excel document has three sheets, (data, pivots and chart).
The pivots tab contains a pivot table based on the data in the data tab.
The chart tab has the pivot chart based on the pivot table in the pivots tab.
When converting to PDF, the names of the points are incorrect (we assume this is due to the commas in the data, however excel does not seem to mind them)
(Converted.pdf is the output generated by aspose, Example.pdf is the output when excel is used to generate the pdf, as you can see, the output from excel is correct)
Kind Regards
James Bagg.
Hi,
Thanks for your template file.
After an initial test, I observed the issue as you mentioned. When converting your Excel file to PDF, the names of the points are incorrect regarding commas in the data. I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-42014” for your issue. We will look into your issue soon.
Once we have any update on it, we will let you know here.
Thank you.
Hi,
Please try refreshing the Pivot table(s) before converting to PDF, e.g
//…
for (int i = 0; i < openBook.Worksheets.Count; i++)
{
Worksheet sheet = book.Worksheets[i];
if (sheet.PivotTables.Count > 0)
{
sheet.PivotTables[0].RefreshData();
sheet.PivotTables[0].CalculateData();
}
}
Let us know your feedback.
Thank you.
