Strong Workbook Encryption is not supported

Hi Aspose Team,

We are using the aspose cell product for java..on try to parse one of the xls file I get following exception "Strong Workbook Encryption is not supported"

What's the cause??

Thanks for the quick response. I tried using ur attached version. This time it complains about invalid password. When I try to open the excel sheet with the same passowrd it works. I have attached the workbook. The password is "BFM100".

Please let me know

Thank you for considering Aspose.

Well, the Encryption Type specified in you file (RC4, Microsoft Enhanced DSS and Diffie-Hellman Cryptographic Provider) is not supported with Aspose.Cells for Java at the moment. We will look into it and see if we can support it soon as per your requirement. In the mean time, you may use the encryption type "RC4, Microsoft Strong Cryptographic Provider" if it suites your need.

Thxs for responding…But these are the files we receive from clients & it’s not possible to ask them change. Please let me know when you schedule fix for this. Any ETA?

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 9686) have been fixed in this update.
