Support for subdocuments in Aspose.Words for Java

I have a document using the Master/Subdocument feature. The subdocument is removed from the master when it is loaded by Aspose.Java. This leads me to believe that Aspose does not support subdocuments at all. However, I see some references to subdocuments scattered about in the forums.

At this point, all I require is the preservation of subdocuments, I’m not looking to insert/delete/modify the links from master to subdocuments.

Are subdocuments supported, and if not when will they be supported?

Aspose.Words for Java 3.3, jdk16.

Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you are right, Aspose.Words does not support subdocuments at the moment. Although subdocuments appear as hyperlinks in Microsoft Word, they are not stored as such inside a document. They are stored in some undocumented format. We will keep this feature on our future task list.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-761) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
