Support of BIFF7 file format in Microsoft Excel 97 - Excel 2003 & 5.0/95 Workbook (*.xls) using Aspose.Cells for .NET with C#

I see that the latest Java release supports BIFF7 file format. However, does .Net support this file format yet?

Hi Karen,

Aspose.Cells for .NET does not support BIFF7 file format. But, if you could save the file as “Microsoft Excel 97 - Excel 2003 & 5.0/95 Workbook (*.xls)” in MS Excel, we can provide a new fix which supports to load the BIFF8 records of the file. Hopefully, it might server your need.

Please try the new fix 4.8.0.5 (attached). We have supported to load BIFF8 records from the files whose file type is “Microsoft Excel 97 - Excel 2003 & 5.0/95 Workbook (*.xls)”.
