I was able to notice a speed issue after you provided the fix for this merge column issue. From 2.6.15.0 onwards, when we merge columns of a row in a table the time it takes to merge columns is longer than what it used to be prior to 2.6.15.0 release. Also this ‘time increase’ increases with the number of rows in the table (ie. it takes more time if there are more rows). I think that this is directly related to your merged cell fix in 2.6.15.0.

BTW: Even prior to 2.6.15.0 release, the merge cells usually take a considerable amount of time and we were planning on addressing that issue with you. Now with the 2.6.15.0 release the situation is further worsened.

Yes, you are right. Last fix do additional checks on a table and
slow down process for large tables.

We are going to change internal tables processing engine and make it more quick
so it will depend on table size very little. I hope we will change it in June.

I just wanted to emphasize the importance of having this issue fixed at the earliest. Now we are compelled to use 2.6.14.0 because of this. Will you be releasing the fix (rewrite) before the end of June? Please keep me posted as this issue is very critical for us.

You promised to deliver this more than a month ago? Is there an update on when this will be released? The product that we're building relies heavily on Aspose and we've not been able to make any new releases since the table generation slow down release.

I would atleast appreciate it if you can give me a reliable delivery date.

It is done on .NET and being ported to JAVA. The release was soon to be coming but delayed. Hopefully, it will come in this month.

I would really appreciate it if there was any chance for us to get a copy of the .NET assembly version. (Our application is .NET).

This way our developers can integrate the new version and test it out as soon as possible.

Now we are doing last testing before new release and everything will be available on this week.
