Takes very long to convert a 12M DWG file to PDF file

Hello, we are trying to use the Aspose.Imaging for .NET 2.4.0 to convert the DWG file to PDF file. We found out that it is very slow for a 12M DWG file:

  • loading time is about 78 seconds
  • conversation time is 7 minutes

Based on our testing with file around 3M, the loading and conversation time is reasonable small. could you take a look at it? Attached zip file has the 12M DWG file.

Unfortunately, we are unable to evaluate your presented scenario on our end because we have experienced the OutOfMemoryException while saving the resultant PDF while using the latest version of Aspose.Imaging for .NET 2.5.0. We have logged this problem in our bug tracking system under the ticket IMAGING-34272 for further investigation & correction purposes. We have logged another investigative ticket to evaluate your originally presented scenario related to the performance of the API while converting large DWG files to PDF format. The ticket Id for your future reference is IMAGING-34273.

Please spare us little time to properly analyze the problem cause for both of the above mentioned issues on our end. In the meanwhile, we will keep you posted with updates in this regard.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as IMAGING-34272) have been fixed in this update.

Can you please share your kind feedback concerning to following issue that if you are still able to observe this on your end using latest Aspose.CAD for .NET 17.9.

If there is still an issue then can you please provide the big DWG file that you have provided earlier.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
