Text encoding

Hello, our goal is to retrieve email from a server and get the plain text.

Normally is ok using the TEXTBODY property (MailMessage class).

In one case we receive an email that contains the “°” character and aspose client convert it into “¿”.

So, instead receive “N°” we receive “N¿”.

I tried to change encoding to the read message, but nothing has changed.

If it’s useful i can say that in the header there’s something strange (i bold it):

Hi Mirco,

Thank you for inquiry.

Could you please post a sample file for our analysis?

the problem is that i should send you an email directly from our customer, but this is not possibile 'cause they have an automatism and we only see the email when it come into outlook and, in this case, it is correctly formatted: outlook does it for us.

Could you please tell how do you get the email in MailMessage class (Imap or Exchange client)? You may save the problematic message with MailMessage.Save() in MSG format and send it to us.

You may either post the file in this forum or zip/send to me using the “Contact” --> “send saqib.razzaq an email” button on this thread.
