Does Aspose.PDF .Net support extracting text from PDF documents that are version 1.4 (Adobe 5.x) or earlier?

Aspose.Pdf for .NET API has support of PDF versions 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and above. You can extract text from the PDF as narrated in this help topic: Extract Text from PDF. We recommend to always try the latest version of the Apsose.Pdf for .NET API.
You can get a 30 day temporary license from the purchase portal and its option is available in step 5. You will see a button with caption Get a Temp License in step 5 of the purchase portal. A temporary license is a time-restricted full license that lets you test every aspect of API before buying it.
