Text formatting issues

Hi,

Am observing series of text formatting related issues while converting VSDs into PDFs, i.e. formatting just doesn’t match between source and output files.

1) Org Chart 2007 : Texts - Carol Edwards, Mark Albright etc are bold in source, but not in output.

2) Org Chart 2007 : Texts - Executive Director, Execute Assistant etc are italic in source, but normal in output.

3) Org Chart 2007 : Font-size appears to have changed. Source text in all boxes look bigger, output text is smaller.

4) Org Chart 2007 : In output, upper text in all boxes are far from the line while bottom ones are too close to the line. In source file both are at equal distance from the line. Looks like it is due to absence of vertical-center alignment in Aspose Diagram.

(I might add similar issues found for other samples in same thread without creating a new one, hope it’s fine).

Thanks,
Rajiv

Attaching one more sample with similar text formatting issue.

5) ‘Enhancing Drawings PE.vsd’ : Bold and Underline text-effect for the heading ‘Employee Promotion Process’ has gone. Same as Issue #1.

Thanks,
Rajiv
  1. Ape to Man Data Graphic.vsd’ : Found another file where bold effect is missing in text.

Is text-formatting parsing implemented in Aspose Diagrams ? Please let me know.

If possible, please don’t file so many bugs for all such samples for the same issue, let’s try to avoid duplicates. If any issue is same but seen in multiple file, we should ideally just file a single bug and add all samples into it.

    Thanks,
    Rajiv
