We have converted DOCX file to PDF using Aspose.Words and Aspose.PDF. I have attached the DOCX and PDF files. We used the latest March 27th release of Aspose.Words.
Problems in converting Report.docx to Report.pdf are
a. The text in the Content Controls is not showing up
b. The first table “Fund Overview” is missing row lines in second column
c. The image logo on the top left is missing
Report-Corrupted.docx cannot be converted at all. It is giving an error.
Please let me know if these will be fixed in any release soon
Content controls and DrawingML images are still under development now. I have tried on the version built from our current codebase and have been able to convert the second document. But the issues in the first document are still reproduced.
These issues are known in our defect database:
#4295 – Support Structured Document Tags (SDT) (Content Controls)
#4273 – Support DrawingML import and export
Bringing OOXML (DOCX) to mature state is our top-priority task. We’ll notify you when these issues are fixed. As a workaround you can save these documents with MS Word in DOC format. They will be loaded and converted without issues.
