The "font" and "Print Preview" of Text box are not the same in Xlsx to Ods conversion

#1

Hi Support,
I got a different result for Xlsx converting to Ods when I use the latest version of Aspose.Cells for .NET i.e. 19.7.

The first problem is about font:
There is a text box in 01.xlsx file, and the font of text box is “標楷體.” (see [01.jpg] 01.jpg (100.0 KB) )
When converted “01.xlsx” to ODS format (see [02.jpg] 02.jpg (170.8 KB)
Opening the .ods file by using LibreOffice 6.2.5.2 with Chinese(traditional) language package), the font of text box is “新細明體.”

The font of text box on .Ods file is different from the .Xlsx file.

You can see the different in the picture [03.jpg] 03.jpg (219.6 KB).

The second problem is about Print Preview:
There is a text box in 01.xlsx file, and the Print Preview shows the text box. (see [ [01Print Preview.jpg] 01Print Preview.jpg (99.4 KB) )
And the object attribute of print in 01.xlsx. (see [04.jpg] 04.jpg (170.9 KB) )

When converted “01.xlsx” to ODS format and checked the Print Preview mode (see [02Print Preview.jpg] 02Print Preview.jpg (69.5 KB)
Opening the .ods file by using LibreOffice 6.2.5.2 with Chinese(traditional) language package), the Print Preview shows blank page.
And the object attribute of print in 02.ods. (see [05.jpg] 05.jpg (174.5 KB) )

The Print Preview shown on .Ods file is different from the .Xlsx file.

You can see the text box attributes of print are different in the picture [06.jpg] 06.jpg (326.0 KB).

You can try the sample code. ConsoleApp1.zip (4.8 MB)

Please help. Thanks a lot.

@ahsaniqbalsidiqui,

I tried the latest version/fix: Aspose.Cells for .NET v19.7.7 For .Net4.0.
The issues are fixed, but the gridlines on a worksheet are missing in ODS file converted from XLSX. (see the image 07.jpg (185.6 KB))

Please help. Thanks a lot.

@CYHsu,
Thank you for the feedback and glad to know that your Font issue is resolved. We have observed the behaviour where gridlines are OFF in the output ODS file by default. We need little time to look into it and will provide our feedback soon after analysing it.
