Drawing of 3D shapes is a bit complicated, so we decided to implement something suitable for a custom drawing. We plan to add to the Shape class (and its descendants of course) a function, which will return a collection of GraphicsPath objects with some other properties (such as line and fill types), enough for drawing shape including shadows and 3D.
