Timeout Issue with Tomcat8 - Aspose.pdf for Java

Hi,


I am using Aspose.pdf 10.3.0 to generate pdf documents. Initially we were using it with Tomcat 7 but since we have moved to Tomcat 8.0 we have been facing some issues.

1. Timeout issues when executing the application for the first time after the build. When we try the second time it works absolutely fine.
2. I have also failed issues when the Tomcat server does not comes up and we need to exclude Aspose jar from scanning process to make it work.

When you say you logged a ticket PDFNEWJAVA-35048, does that mean you confirm that both of the issues exists with Aspose 10.3.0.

Same issue we have with aspose-slides-15.4.0 so we hope that this will be resolved soon.

Thanks for your inquiry. In reference to PDFNEWJAVA-35048, our product team has completed the investigation of the issue and issue is found with earlier versions of Tomcat 8. The Tomcat functionality has been improved in latest versions. We are unable to replicate the issue in latest versions 8.0.20 and 8.0.24. Please use the latest version of Tomcat, it will resolve the issue.

Thanks for your inquiry. As above stated, that there is some performance issue with earlier release of Tomcat 8. So it is recommended to try latest release of Tomcat 8 i.e. 8.0.24, hopefully it will resolve the issue. If the issue persist then please share your sample code and environment details ,so we will investigate it in Aspose.Slides perspective and provide you information accordingly.
