Scenario 1: Refer below attachment, the ‘To’ recipient information is broken:

Scenario 2: Refer below attachment, the ‘To’ recipient information is not broken:
ToRecipientProper.JPG (44.3 KB)
EML file below:
FW IMG.zip (252.4 KB)
In the code, we are using the fields ‘Address’ and ‘Display Name’. When the recipient information is broke, our code crashes.
This is replicable on version 17.12 and 18.2
Kindly help us in resolving this issue plz. Thanks.

The “To” field in the problematic EML file has address like:
To: “” hsa_info@hsa.gov.sg
which seems to be invalid at the beginning. If you change it to the following correct format:
To: QSM hsa_info@hsa.gov.sg
the information is retrieved fine by the API, Please give it a try at your end and let us know your feedback.
I’m just parsing the eml file only.
My To recipient while replying from personal email would look like <QSM> <hsa_info@hsa.gov.sg>
Any reason why the To recipient is split like that as reported?

We have further logged the issue as EMAILNET-38934 for further investigation. We’ll update you here once there is some information or fix version available in this regard.
