Transform Paper Tray Information during Converting Word Document to PCL Format using C# .NET | Printer Command Language

when i use the pcl save option, will the tray configuration in the source document be transported in pcl?

Currently, paper tray information of source Word document is not transported in PCL. We have logged this requirement in our issue tracking system. The ID of this issue is WORDSNET-16391. The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-16391) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 18.4 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 18.4 update.

It is to update you that starting from the 18.4 releases, we have added support in Aspose.Words for .NET and Aspose.Words for Java APIs to preserve paper tray information when converting Word document to PCL format using C# or Java. There is no additional code required. Aspose.Words can now transfer following information from Word document’s model into PCL file format.

PageSetup.FirstPageTray
PageSetup.OtherPagesTray

Please note that the value of paper tray is passed from Document as is. PCL format supports only 8-bit identifiers for paper tray; so make sure this values are correct for PCL printer.
