Hi, I downloaded free trial of Aspose Tasks for .NET to see if it can be usefull in our application, if it can replace COM Interop, and I already discovered couple of problems.
1. in trial mode I cannot save file in MPP format
2. if I save in XML I can see that Task Start field has incorrect year - in my test export data Start dates are 2015, but in resulting export year is 2000. and there are some warning and conflicts when I open file in MS Project - like tasks are past their deadlines (which were not set), only one Start date is set, others are reset to 01.01.2000, etc.
For me this means that trial mode is useless - almost no correct data is exported to MS Project document.
Hi Dmitry,
Thank you for contacting Aspose support team.
Aspose.Tasks trial version has limitations as faced by you and mentioned
here. You may please get
free temporary license for 30 days to test all the features without any limitation. This temporary license will allow you to save data to MPP file and also dates will not be limited to year 2000.
For more examples and features detail please visit
Developer’s Guide and feel free to write us back if you have any other query related to Aspose.Tasks.
I tried to request 30 days temp license, but your wizard states that I have no company email set (I registered with my gmail account). As that page suggested - I went to my profile and changed email, and tried again to get temp license, but it still says that my email is on gmail and that I cannot get temp license.
I already have a free temporary license for 30 days, but I difference in months.
so if I did; 2016-9-02 Aspos.tasks poster 2016-10-02 !!
Hi,
Changing the dates manually in the license file won’t work and the licensing functionality will break. Please always avoid any changes to the license file manually. You may please post in Aspose.Purchase forum to get a trial license.
