Some of our customer's presentations show a black border around placeholders after the slide is clone from a source presentation and its master is changed.
We have narrowed the problem down to the attached sample. Apparently if you create a new slide then change the slide layout to a layout that doesn't use all the placeholders that have text in them ("Title Only" from "Title and Text" for example), then the result is a black border around the unmapped placeholder.
