Updating of Index

We’re using version 7. We’re trying to generate a .pdf from a word document created using Aspose.Words. The document contains an index.

It looks like there currently is no way to update the index prior to creating the .pdf file so the index is always missing from the final .pdf.

Are there any workarounds for this?

Thanks for your request. In Aspose.Words 7.0.0 we have released our new field evaluation engine, which currently allows to update most of MS Word fields. But, unfortunately, Aspose.Words still does not support updating TOC, TOF and Indexes. This feature will be included in one of future versions. The issues you have found earlier (filed as 10380) have been fixed in this update.
