Upgraded from PDF.Kit 3.5 to 4.4 not backwards compatible

I upgraded and I have several places where reading PdfFileInfo and Using PdfContentEditor that throws index errors now. I have found if I always set the Stream.Position = 0 everything works. This seems to be a regression bug or is this by design? It is causing me much headache.
