Urgent - Need to set Black and White

If you right-click an image in Word and go to Format Picture, there is an option to set the “Color” to “Black and White”.

I need to be able to set this programmatically for images I insert into a document, as it’s the only way to get a certain printer to print in black and white mode. I’ve tried inserting a 1-bit Drawing.Bitmap but it doesn’t achieve the same thing.

Can you please assist? I’m ready to buy a license apart from this one issue.
