Using Aspose.Cells for .NET with SharePoint

Hello,

I was wondering whether installing Aspose.Cells for .NET on a public facing SharePoint 2013 server would be okay from a security/compatibility standpoint. On one hand, it’s just “a few DLLs deployed to the GAC”. On the other hand, I wonder whether that could negatively impact the long team stability of the SharePoint install and would be unsupported by Microsoft.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your posting and considering Aspose.Cells.

Aspose.Cells
is a .NET framework assembly which you can use to manipulate and create
new or existing MS-Excel documents. If you can use any .NET Framework
assembly in your SharePoint environment, you can also use Aspose.Cells.

For installation or deployment, please see the following documentation articles for your reference.
