What Fonts Are Required for Hindi Language Support?

I can’t see how your response is related to what I wrote before.

  1. Fonts are installed
  2. The absolute and relative paths are provided

It doesn’t work anyway.

@Stan.Stan,
I have logged the issue in our tracking system with ID SLIDESNET-42502 to investigate further. I will inform you about any progress.

Hi Andrey, do you have any updates here? Thanks

@DaryaDel,
I requested some estimated time from our development team to investigate the issue. I let you know as soon as I know.

Thank you very much Andrey, I appreciate it

@DaryaDel,
Please try to install Aparajita fonts aparaji.zip (535.2 KB).

It didn’t help us.

@Stan.Stan,
Our development team will investigate the issue further.

Hi there, is there any update for us? Thank you

@DaryaDel,
Our development team is investigating this case. Unfortunately, I haven’t still any news for you. I will let you know about any progress as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

@DaryaDel,
Our developers investigated the issue. The rendering of Hindi text for .NET Core on Ubuntu (18.04, 20.04) can be fixed by installing Nirmala or Aparajita fonts (any of them) into the operating system (copy necessary font(s) to /usr/local/share/fonts folder, then run command: fc-cache -f -v).

Starting version 21.9, you can use FontsLoader.LoadExternalFonts (some issues were found in font substitution logic in previous versions).

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESNET-42502) have been fixed in this update.
