What is Aspose.Cells based on?

Hi there,

I am interested in your Cells-Product. But before to buy it, it´s important to know what´s it based on. Is it based on Apache POI or something similar, do you use MS Open XML SDK or did you implement it all yourself?

It would be nice to know to get the right decision, thanks and best regards

Thanks for your query.

Aspose.Cells for Java is a pure JAVA component (written in Java) that does not use or depend on MS Office or any relevant and other APIs, it is independent component. The API is not based on Apache POI or MS Open XML sdk.

Similarly Aspose.Cells for .NET is written in managed C#. The component does not need, depend on MS Office or MS Excel, Open XML or any other automation APIs, it is an independent spreadsheet management library.
